The Labyrinth

After relocating from India to the UK to be with her husband, excited for her new chapter and madly in love, Reshmi’s life took a sudden turn when her husband left one evening and never came back. Within days, she found herself homeless, penniless, divorced, and without a visa during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the story of how Reshmi rebuilt her life, with no support from home, whilst navigating the labyrinth of the UK's hostile immigration environment.
